La Via del Tè's Firenze collection is a tribute to Florence’s art, food, characters, and legends of the Renaissance. This citrusy black tea was inspired by a hybrid citrus fruit grown in the Boboli gardens of Palazzo Pitti, home of the Medici family.

When Alfredo Cannai founded La Via del Tè in 1961, the world of tea was mostly unknown in Italy. As his fascination with tea and the culture surrounding it grew, Alfredo began traveling to the farthest corners of the world, in search of the rarest teas and the best harvests. Sixty years later, the family-owned company deals with every aspect of production, from selecting and importing the best tea harvests from China, Japan, India, and beyond, to creating the brand’s unique blends, are carried out with the beauty and precision of Tuscany’s artisanal tradition.
